I think he meant Floyd as his comeback fight now could have gone straight for pacman, not jmm. Hagler was 32, that's not old. If pbf were a true great he would come back vs. the best, not a blown up lightweight. Another piece of evidence showing he is scared to lose.

But isn't Floyd the "so called" #1? The general public doesn't know JMM like they know Pacquiao now. All that is for Floyd is securing him a big check in the case that he may lose his next fight (presumably against Pacquiao).

If he were that confident that he could beat Pacquiao, he'd let the fight build throughout the Summer and Fall and it would be the event of the decade.

Seems to me pac wants to fight floyd more then cotto.
Maybe the reason he wants to fight cotto earlier is to give cotto less time to fully recover from that cut and perhaps better chance of re-opening it. I don't know...

Before Floyd got injured,Manny was not going to make his decision until the Floyd- Marquez fight.Cotto was being dangled by Arum but Manny was determined not to make his decision until after the Mayweather fight.All this because he wants to fight Floyd and he brought the trash talk with his desire.Everyone in team Manny from Roach to Arum was talking about how they would destroy Floyd's body,how they would get 60% of the share and how Floyd was overated.

Mayweather gets injured and fight's rescheduled to September 19.The Cotto-Manny fight is scheduled for November 14,Manny called HBO asking for an October date (which is closer to September 19).The reason is if he fights closer to Mayweather's fight then a deal can be put for Manny to face Floyd around December 15 or in early January so he can concentrate on his campaigns
