Before Floyd got injured,Manny was not going to make his decision until the Floyd- Marquez fight.Cotto was being dangled by Arum but Manny was determined not to make his decision until after the Mayweather fight.All this because he wants to fight Floyd and he brought the trash talk with his desire.Everyone in team Manny from Roach to Arum was talking about how they would destroy Floyd's body,how they would get 60% of the share and how Floyd was overated.

Mayweather gets injured and fight's rescheduled to September 19.The Cotto-Manny fight is scheduled for November 14,Manny called HBO asking for an October date (which is closer to September 19).The reason is if he fights closer to Mayweather's fight then a deal can be put for Manny to face Floyd around December 15 or in early January so he can concentrate on his campaigns

you really shouldn't be as surprised as you are.....regardless of what was being said, everybody knew floyd's main purpose for unretiring was to get the MEGA fight done w/ pacman......had he not got hurt, that's the fight we would be seeing nov-dec......i don't doubt manny feels a bit of a letdown, now that he has to wait and his focus has to **** to cotto....

not taking anything away from cotto, he's a good fighter, but that fight won't generate nearly as much interest as a mayweather-pacquiao fight would've.
