Nah the Hatton fight wasnt close imo, BUT Hatton was fighting bravely even though he was outclassed and actually gave floyd some problems.

I gave him 3 rounds or so... Nobody said it was close, if you read. I only said that he made Mayweather look very uncomfortable early on. Nobody can deny that.

My question is: Will Marquez be able to have Floyd uncomfortable, squirming? Will he be at least able to confuse Mayweather with his style? Personally, I think he'll give a better account of himself than Hatton did.. I could see him landing some great counters and having Floyd a little gun shy, early on. What do you guys think?
jmm might land a couple counters early but it wont matter. jmm and a pressure fighter and floyd will stick and move to a easy ud. you have to pressure floyd and make him uncomfortable, siting back waiting for counters wont work against floyd.

            LOL

Mayweather carried and tortured Hatton. Embarrassed him...

like Marquez will get done worse than getting check hooked into a turnbuckle...lol

Hatton ate a lot of leather in that fight, sure he was coming forward but he was getting hit all the time. Sure he looked good in the first round, but after that he was getting picked off by Floyd. I say JMM stays in the fight longer than Hatton does.

JMM is a better fighter then Hatton but style wise, JMM isn't gonna trouble Mayweather.

Marquez will undoubtly do better. The only problem I see is Marquez goes down/gets rocked relatively easily. Will he be able to recover from Mayweather's counter punches if he gets caught and falls down?

Mayweather is also very good in the pocket, and he may just be there if JMM fights like he did against Diaz.

Yeah obviously Jmm is better than Hatton, and he COULD do better but i doubt it somehow
explain yourself. why do you 'doubt it somehow'?

not to sound like an arse, just wondering how you see the fight playing out.
