Is Cotto as skilled as JM Marquez?

I think Mayweather knows he can't afford to run in this fight. It would be more acceptable against Pacquiao who is realistically bigger than Marquez at these higher weights. Due to size, anything but a knockout win over Marquez for Floyd is unacceptable. I want Marquez to win and I will be rooting for him, but Juan Diaz almost had him knocked out and though Floyd is not a big puncher, he becomes one with the size advantage.JMM has tremendous skill, he just lacks in the physical department. He wasn't blessed with speed or tremendous power, his chin isn't so good either. He just has tons of skill. He trains very hard to.
If Floyd loses even a fraction of what he once had or his timing is off, he is screwed. JMM has always been able to deal with speed but if Floyd runs it could make it a boring UD for Floyd.Comment

I think the vast majority of people would have felt Cotto was more skilled had he not lost to Margarito. JMM has been on a streak lately and most feel that he beat Pacquiao in the rematch, myself included. I would honestly say that it is tough to really choose because Cotto is still growing as a fighter and still has many years to improve. JMM is a vet and has reached the peak. If Cotto were to get with a trainer that can teach him and mold him, he could reach JMM's peak if not surpase it. This poll should be reconsidered when Cotto is at JMM's age.Comment

garbage phone. Also by the 8th round after losing every round and being dropped once or twice he would wish he was in Nottingham in the comfort of his Synagogue praying to god while sipping on tea. A late round stoppage for the Executioner.Comment
