cotto is very skilled offensively....defensively, he can improve. but offensively, he has enough movement, and he's quick enough to where some of his fights are alot tougher than they should be.'

right or wrong, cotto fights for the fans, and he tries to put on a show for them, even when it can be sometimes to his detriment.

all that aside, cotto has heart too....attribututes (height, weight, reach) can be measured, skill can be measured, heart can't.

That doesn't mean Cotto cannot beat Pacquiao, He has something over Pacquiao that Marquez didn't have and that is a clear power and size advantage.

As one of the biggest Cotto fans here I don't believe that Cotto is as skilled as JMM. Marquez has impecable timing and knowledge of when to throw and what to throw that I find fascinating. His skill is a direct link to his intelligence in the ring and there is no doubt that he is probably the smartest boxer or one of the smartest right now.
