Its tough to compare because both guys have fought different opposition up to this point in their careers.

Marquez made a name for himself with both fights against Pacquiao along with fights with MAB and as of recent Juan Diaz. He's a great counterpuncher and is very durable as where Cotto is somewhat of a sharpshooter / Boxer Puncher who knows how to switch up, but is questioned by his stamina and ability to take a beating and keep going.

Both guys have very good skill sets, but they've fought different types of fighters where it becomes too tough to measure what one guy could do say against a guy like Diaz who's style was more taylor made for JMM as to where Clottey is a nightmare matchup for anyone in that division just off of his style (not necessarily power).

Why not put Cotto and Marquez in the ring to find out (or is that too much for Marquez )?

This topic has been talked about at least once every seven days for the past several weeks. But I don't think Cotto would be too much for Marquez to answer your question. I've explained why I think Cotto loses to JMM. He wouldn't be able to deal with those uppercuts coming from different angles. This is coming from someone who doesn't like Floyd. I just call it how I see it.

          Simple answer.... NO.

You PRs need to knock the overrated **** off. Cotto is good but he does not match JMM in skills. Cotto has power, jab and defense. JMM has everything else.... who has more skills? Exactly.
