id like chambers more if he didnt contribute to the growing trend of american heavyweights being fat. no explanation is needed on why wlad would beat chambers, but if you honestly think that chambers can win, lets go ahead and sig it up cause ill give you odds and bet as many points as i can on chambers getting shut down, and it wont even be remotely close.

This is just my prediction, not something I would bet real money on, or I'm real confident about. But Chambers does have a chance at beating Wlad, better than most heavyweights, even though the odds are stacked against him for obvious reasons. If Chambers was 6'4, a natural 220lber, with an 81" arm length I would say the fight would be 50/50 based on skills.

Wlad is saying he wants to fight Chambers next...

I imagine discussions are going on this week.

wlad is too big.the only guy at 208 in recent times who would beat wlad was a prime Holyfield.I mean early to mid 90's Holyfield.he could punch & his 1 2 followed by the lfft hook was devastated.those were the good old Holyfield days.although it's only my opinion because it never happened so really no one knows.I think wlad handles chambers very easily.knockout by the 10th.

I got Wlad by decision. Chambers is better than Ibragimov he wont get stopped, but he wont win either.

The word from Dan Rafeal and elsewhere is that Wladimir wants to fight Chambers next.

So we'll likely have this fight before the end of 2009.

My heart says my boy Eddie can do it.

But my brain says he's getting KTFO'd.

All I really know for sure is that Wlad is a beast, and Eddie's really going to have to avoid that right hand to have a serious shot at even making it the distance.

Eddie's tight defense (guard), coupled with his solid head movement and footwork will make it an interesting tactical fight.

Both guys are really skilled, technical fighters.

Wlad obviously has the advantage in terms of power, size, and experience. Confidence also must be on his side the way he's just dominated everybody who's dared to challenge the throne.

For Eddie ; he's going to have to use the jab as well as he always does to set things up. Mix up his punches a bit more like he just did against Alexander earlier this month, and not get drawn into any kind of fire fight.

I think the most important thing is for Eddie to keep his calm, though.

Above all else ; he must do that.

It's not going to be easy work to take rounds from Wladimir, he needs to think on his feet and stay calm and focused.

We all saw him go into something of a shell against Povetkin when things weren't going his way (even though he'd won the early rounds).

He cannot afford to do that against Wlad.

Win, lose, or draw though ; I'm very proud of Eddie's progression and the way he bounced back from the Povetkin loss to get in line for this opportunity.

Should be a good, technical fight. Something I always look forward to.

How can you not pick Wlad. Easy, Easy, Easy, I picked him by KO, But he'll probably win a boring dec. Eddie is a pretty good boxer.

He really is. It's just unfortunate for him that he's fighting in the division at the same time as the Klitschko brothers because he'll likely never become Heavyweight Champion because of them.

If they weren't around, he could easily be the Heavyweight Champion of the World. I simply don't see anybody not named "Klitschko" beating him in the division right now.
