I dont think 145 lbs will make a difference. On the last couple fights that he had Cotto came in at 146. I dont think 1 lb will make a difference. Now 143lbs will be a problem.

Not too worried about cotto in this one, he just had a fight a couple of weeks ago so 4 months before this fight, he shouldn't balloon too much, he knows the importance of the fight. Miguel is a very disciplined fighter - do not forget! Aslo do you guys think Pac can beat clottey? especially with one eye? I will tell u this clottey has better defense than pac, Cotto needs a joe goossen (attack and finish the guy off type of trainer). when cotto is in that mode nobody beats him. I just honestly think the 2 pounds shouldn't hurt him that bad because of cotto's discipline, and he knows the importance and i heard he is looking for a good chief trainer - I got cotto in this, If clottey would have won, arum wasn't going to put pac in with him, so that is the angle i am running with on this, read my thread thoroughly before you guys pick me apart, but cotto is excellent with his timing, his balance is exceptional, his heart is unmatched, and he has supreme confidence, oh yeah the boy can crack - you heard the clottey interviews about comparing cotto with margacheato - clottey said no comparison, and cotto's speed is very very underrated as quoted by shane mosley when he lost, and by Zab, and also Manny steward.

I think this is just Margarito`s early alibi in case Pacquiao defeats Cotto, making Margarito`s accomplishment against Cotto intact, until he makes a comeback. A defensive tactic on Margarito`s part.

The way we will find out if he cheated? Margo will not be able to use his former trainer again. The trainer will probably not be able to train again. Margarito will have to pay this man, and the others to keep their mouth shut. If he stops paying them, which eventually will happen, they will start talking and saying that Margo cheated.

He hit him alot. Theres no proof that he cheated in the fight, no factual solid proof whatsoever. Cotto hit Margorito with everything he had and IMO was as crisp and fast as i have ever seen Cotto. The problem was his punches didnt hurt the man at all. Getting hit alot is the main problem with the Pacman fight, as you stated Margorito doesnt punch fast and is kinda sloppy. Pacman throws alot and is compared to margorito a very clean puncher. The only aspect of the fight that i do find interesting is that Pacman has been Ko'd by body shots and Cotto used to be a good body puncher, i say used to because it seems like he has abandoned it. On the flip side Cotto gets hit alot and allows himself to get hit alot, he will not be able to run from pacman very effectively and if Cotto allows himself to get hit on top of what will land on speed anyway he's in big trouble. thats also why i feel Cotto has alot to lose in this fight and should be rewarded a little more with money or weight or maybe offer him a Pavlik deal where he doesnt have to risk his title. Pacman lose he still gets the JMM fight someday, Cotto loses and he is all but done outside of fighting Margorito and theres no way he wants to do that.

Undestandable that there no VISUAL evidence on the PLASTER, BUT as you mentioned that Cotto hit Margo wit everything he had and with very quick crisp hits, that happened through 5 rounds, and Margo's face was not even close as beat up as Cotto, but Margarito hit Cotto around the same rounds but WITHOUT the same power @ all that Cotto hit him and Cotto came out the worse? Tell me how that happens? How can 2 guys go about 5 rounds hitting eachother in the face and ONE of them hitting much harder and then HE is the one who ends up dismantled? dont tell me that the volume of punches was the difference, because if anything, it would actually be as equal because of the fact that Cotto hit him much harder and it should of taken 2 of Margo's hits to equal 1 of Cotto's, still Cotto came out SWOLLED as if he got rolled on n got hit wit brass in his face.
