I hope it happens ton of great fights. Go JT, whi is everyone counting him out? He got KOd in the last second of a fight he was winning against arguably the best guy in the division. JTs winning it watch and see.
Arthur Abraham vs. Jermain Taylor in October in Germany
Carl Froch vs. Andre Dirrell in October in the UK.
Mikkel Kessler vs. Andre Ward in November.
Arthur Abraham vs. Andre Dirrell in America in January 2010
Mikkel Kessler vs. Carl Froch in Europe in March 2010
Andre Ward vs. Jermain Taylor in America in April/May 2010
Andre Dirrell vs. Andre Ward in America in September 2010
Arthur Abraham vs. Carl Froch in November 2010, with Mikkel Kessler vs. Jermain Taylor taking place around the same time.
Taylor got tired while only throwing 300 some odd punches over 12 rounds. Today's heavyweight would pity that workrate. Jermain will get abused by Abraham, he tears into fighters that get tired.
Dirrell will outbox Froch, unlike Pascal and Taylor, he has real good stamina. He just doesn't know how to pace himself.
Kessler-Ward is a tossup, it'll be a decent scrap.
I love this idea of non-elimination, just mixing and matching the top fighters in the deepest division. **** losses, just making the best fights, Showtime deserves huge props if they can pull this off.
man ... this sounds too good to be true, hope it all comes to fruision, too bad bute couldnt be included in the planning, but great fights all of em ...
Great news. The weird thing is that isn't eliminating the losers. Maybe they didn't match Abraham vs Kessler because they count on them as the winners.
This sounds great and I know everyone is excited but isn't this what our sport should of been doing a long time ago? This should happen in all divisions, it's long overdue.
