Abraham, Froch, Taylor, Kessler in Showtime Shocker

This is fabulous news if this is true. But I thought Kessler was in a bind with his promoter. Even if he is, Showtime should make this tournament without him if the guy won't fight. And whoever does come out as the last man standing in this thing should be recognized as the man in the division.

I've got mixed feelings about Jermaine Taylor being in this thing though. I actually think he would still beat some of these guys and I think he could take Abraham, because Abraham has a lower work rate than Pavlik and Froch. But I believe Taylor would get KO'd again if he fought Froch. I think Kessler would probably beat Taylor too. In my opinion Taylor would have a good shot at the wild card guys in this tournament too like Ward and Direll because they are untested at the world class level. But that is a lot of punishment for JT to take after that bad KO loss to Froch. I don't want to see Jermaine Taylor end up like someone that we know who shares his last name.

Wait...Green has one loss, and suffered a flash knockdown against Miranda, after dropping Miranda two rounds earlier and all the sudden he's CHINNY? The ONLY one on that list that I'd favor over Green would be Kessler.

if it happens my gut feeling tells me carl froch wins! It is very difficult to pick a winner.styles make fights so it's too tough to chose a clear winner but froch has momentum going after wins vs pascal & taylor.he's a rock,comes to fight,can get off the canvas to win...I got to go with him.I'd say direll or kessler are going to have the toughest time winning any of their fights unless they fight each other.

Dirrell and Ward would look like they're fighting in 3-D against Froch. Too much natural talent and footwork. The Cobra is a hard man, but I seriously doubt he beats the former Olympians.

Any honest fan who knows about Green's health issues prior to the Miranda fight wouldn't use it as a credible yardsick. I don't agree with your assessment, but I'll shut up now before someone accuses me of being on Greg Leon's payroll.
