"as if say Abraham stops Taylor, what will the interest be in wanting to watch Taylor vs Kessler, Ward or even Dirrell?"
... was silly.
According to that logic, no one should have had any interest in seeing Pavlik-Hopkins - because Taylor beat Hopkins twice, Pavlik beat Taylor twice and brutally stopped him once - so according to the logic in your original statement, Pavlik should have beaten Hopkins easily, and there should have been no interest in watching Pavlik and Hopkins fight.
The reason Hopkins' activity level was low against both Taylor and Calzaghe was that he doesn't cope well (at his age, anyway) with very fast volume punchers who have plenty of lateral movement and good boxing skills. Against Pavlik, his activity level wasn't that high either, but nearly all his punches landed, and almost none of Pavlik's did, because Pavlik's style is made for Hopkins.
LOL...of course you pick the whitest possible one of the four...
What the f~ck does colour have to do with it? He's rated #1 in the division by The Ring, and by everyone who knows anything about boxing. Your statement is ridiculous and very racist.

Thankyou. No matter who beats who or when who beats who, till this point all of these fighters have proven they are tough fighters, and since we know styles make fights, we allow each of these fighters to keep fighting till they have faced each one of each other. You never know who beats who until they step into the ring. All will make great exciting fights too.
I know Dirrell is a hot prospect and everything, but anyone else feel like he'd be taking the biggest step up in competition with this tournament? At least Ward's been in against Miranda.
Oganov and Hanshaw are the biggest names on Dirrell's resume and that's not saying much... the first time Froch finds Dirrell's chin he's going to be in for a serious reality check.
If taylor can stop drinking he could beat everyone in the tournament
Taylor's best chance in this tournament is rediscovering his humility and realizing he is one of the biggest, if not the biggest underdog in the entire field.
When he trains and fights as the underdog he is relentless... when he trains and fights like he expects to win, he gets way too complacent.

well I don't think the interest level for B-Hop-Pavlik was that high anyway, and from a personal stand point it had NOTHING to do with Taylor beating Hopkins twice
I just don't care to see Pavlik jump up 10 lbs outside of his natural weight to take on Hopkins .... it's a catchweight bout and that's why I wouldn't care for it
it has nothing to do with what Taylor, a man Pavlik beat did vs Hopkins
your pulling at straws and in this case you fail. so it's silly of you to assume I'd care or not care about a bout when I have solid reasoning besides who lost to who
again I might of favored Pavlik going in, being the younger man, but all together I had very little interest in this fight, and actually just saw it in full length 2 nights ago.
and as for the bolded comment, again wasn't Pavlik a huge favorite in this fight?
I never said hands down that Taylor absolutely WOULD lose to Abraham, just hypothetically Taylor did wouldn't it be a huge blow to his chances in winning the overall Tournament
as not only would he be one loss in, but back to back KO losses are never good AND it was just reported today that a kayo win gives you an extra point.
**and what original statement regarding "Pavlik should have beaten B-Hop easily"
I don't ever recall saying that word for word ^ in fact I don't think I said anything about Pavlik that would be you, attempting to put words in my mouth
and you you would end it with a "style" statement, but in effect it is true to a certain extent because vs Hopkins, Pavlik was absolutely ineffective and didn't really land clean.
For what it's worth I think you look at the "styles make fights" way too literally
as YES it's in the ring, a fight, no kidding who's more effective should win the fight, i.e pressure fighter landing clean or getting out boxed.
but how does "styles make fights" explain an upset?
as the favorite would be favored for having the better, more effective style, right?

Step 2 is bring back Pat Burns.
Taylor's gas milage is too low.
He shouldn't be in the tourney being that he just got his ass KTFO.
