He is fighting a fighter that wanted to fight him. Fought at welterweight and at jr welterweight.

JMM how many times has he fought at 140 or 147??

But factor in the the size and you could come up with a more logical idea than Cotto is tougher matchup than Jmm.

If you ask who do I think would win between Floyd and Cotto, I would lean towards Floyd. But until Floyd gets in the ring with him, this would not be answered.

IMO, You cannot just subgroup a fighter's attributes and look at each attributes individually. This is no math class. In boxing, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
            good post.
Styles makes fights..is the golden rule in boxing.

Floyd is 39-0 and so on so on, so we can comfortably say which style will give Floyd the most trouble based on Mayweather career history.. and comparing both JMM style to cotto's..

I say JMM style gives floyd more trouble. for the simple fact that he is more versatile

              So is Floyd.

And I am pretty sure JMM has weight in the mid 140 range in his past 3 fights.
on fight night so weight is no problem.

considering PBF has been off for 2 years

and according to your Logic if Cotto beats Pacquiao it doesnt matter because he is not a Welterweight right..?

Cotto is a tougher fight for PBF, but PBF still beats both of them.
