I wonder why the level of opponents between Pac and Floyd was never mentioned?
How many fighter of the year awards has Valero won since turning Pro?
Has Valero won any lineal titles yet?
Has Valero Crack top 8 p4p in his 2nd year since turning pro?
Dont make me do this to you... this argument is not winnable foryou.

but that doesn't mean miguel cotto isn't a riskier and tougher fight than marquez.

are you saying a featherweight is a tougher fight for mayweather than a welterweight?

idiotic points as always from BORE US.
In your opinion why would a cotto fight be tougher than a marquez fight?

there's many ways he's a tougher fight for floyd than marquez.

          i'll give you one.

he's fought at welterweight at least once.

how about that one? good enough?

i know u didnt ask me beat i think cotto beats JMM by KO. they are fighting at 145 and 144 respectivley, so its pretty much the same fight. I dont even think it would be close tbh
Cotto is to big and too strong. I dont think JMM can counter Cotto all night, he'll be forced to fight (not like JMM needs an invitation). Long story short if Pac can put JMM on his ass Cotto can make him stay down.

So since Cotto Fought at WW once that means he will be a tougher fight ?

              Umm...
I Guess Dlh should have beat Pacquiao and Mayweather
I guess Hatton should beat Pacquiao
I guess no smaller should beat bigger fighters.

I guess u think smaller fighters should not fight Bigger fighters.?
history is not on your side in this argument ..

                dude , quit embarassing yourself.

cotto is the #1 or #2 figther in FLOYD's DIVISION.

to say marquez who has fought 0 fights at 147 , 0 fights at 140 and only 2 fights at 135 is a tougher fight is just plain ignorant.

wow, that is the first time i heard that..

Once again we have to judge fighters on their entire careers not portions when you want to say they are Alll time greater than another fighter...

                      I will say this again.

You have to remember when Manny Pacquiao was getting Knockout
Floyd Mayweather was winning fighter of the year awards and beat fighters like Genaro Hernandez.

You have to remember pacquiao was 21 years old when he got knock out in the 3 round ....

Ask yourself what was Mayweather doing when he was 21 years old?

.I will give you the answer.. He was winning Fighter of the year awards by knocking out fighters like Genaro Hernandez who never lost at 130.
By Knocking out fellow top ranked contenders like Angel Manfredy.

While Pacquiao was getting Knockout by No name opponents.. Mayweather was winning Fighter of the year awards by fighting world class opponents...

                      Just think about that..!

I can go on for days, but you get the point...

Manny Pacquiao is great at what he does.
which is throw alot of punches...and has great great foot work. tremendous lateral movement... And he showed the greatest amount of improvement in a fighter in a period of 5 years that i have ever seen.

But, he is not a better fighter than Mayweather.

All speculation until they meet. Which is looking less likely while Floyd is picking on lightweights.

Was Barrera washed up when Manny beat him? Barrera's last loss before that fight was in 2000 against Morales. After Manny he went on to Beat Morales the 2nd time, and his next loss was against JMM in 2007. In between a 7 year span Manny was the only 1 to beat him. So dont play that game.

Manny getting knocked out at 21 doesnt prove anything. I think he's proven in the past 6 years he belongs in the TOP P4P. The whole age comparison to justify who's a better fighter is a bad arguement. There are different circumstances to every fighter.
