floyd once he hit the top , tried to get the easiest fights possible to stay there.

just take a look at who they are fighting next.

pacquiao will probably fight miguel cotto. mayweather is fighting marquez.

So you think Miguel Cotto is a greater fighter the Juan Manuel Marquez?

and the same thing will happen if floyd loses...
and the same thing is happening because the way Manny lost...

loses affect your legacy...that is just the way it is..
but wins also affect your legacy..so it balances out.

but until Floyd loses and has the career he has had so far...
he is the greatest fighter of this generation..
got to give credit for a nice polititons answer!
How about a straight answer to that last part, IF Floyd loses his next 2 fights, and the second is against Manny (very unlikely to lose to JMM rusty or not), and Manny beats Cotto and Floyd (then retires), will u change your opinion on who's the best, or would u feel that Floyds achievements in the past were enough to rank him higher than Manny? Not meaning to be a **** here, just curious.
Currently i rank Floyd higher, but if that scenario happens (not totally out of the question, like i said, no-one knows if Floyd still has it or not) i'd have to put Manny higher.

hORUS IS stuck on the ****** in his sig

        Mayweather has no legacy
or the one he has is just as great as Joe C.
        hahah
        and its laughable

I think ig Floyd were to fight Mosley and then Pac cotto winner and lose both by brutal KO that would do more for his legacy. It would humble him and he would be appreciated once he is brought down from the delusional planet both he and you are on.

If they fight each other, the winner will be the better fighter (barring some victory tainting controversy). They are close enough in legacy that the actual head to head WILL be the be all and end all of the matter

By your standards, Edwin Valero (or insert any undefeated fighter here) is way better fighter than Floyd Mayweather. Floyd lost so many times in the amateurs.....he got a lowly bronze in the Olympics.....lol.

Valero KOing opponents in the 1st round, barely losing any round is more impressive thus making him a better fighter than Floyd.

I wonder why the level of opponents between Pac and Floyd was never mentioned?

wow, that is the first time i heard that..

Once again we have to judge fighters on their entire careers not portions when you want to say they are Alll time greater than another fighter...

              I will say this again.

You have to remember when Manny Pacquiao was getting Knockout
Floyd Mayweather was winning fighter of the year awards and beat fighters like Genaro Hernandez.

You have to remember pacquiao was 21 years old when he got knock out in the 3 round ....

Ask yourself what was Mayweather doing when he was 21 years old?

.I will give you the answer.. He was winning Fighter of the year awards by knocking out fighters like Genaro Hernandez who never lost at 130.
By Knocking out fellow top ranked contenders like Angel Manfredy.

While Pacquiao was getting Knockout by No name opponents.. Mayweather was winning Fighter of the year awards by fighting world class opponents...

              Just think about that..!

I can go on for days, but you get the point...

Manny Pacquiao is great at what he does.
which is throw alot of punches...and has great great foot work. tremendous lateral movement... And he showed the greatest amount of improvement in a fighter in a period of 5 years that i have ever seen.

But, he is not a better fighter than Mayweather.
what was floyd doing in his his teens? oh thats right losing amateurs bout and havent even won a world title.

pacquiao was a pro and won his first world title at 19!

how many title does floyd have 5?
              Pacquiao 6
how many lineal title does floyd got? 3
              pacquiao 4

miguel cotto is not on marquez's level skillwise.

but that doesn't mean miguel cotto isn't a riskier and tougher fight than marquez.

are you saying a featherweight is a tougher fight for mayweather than a welterweight?

idiotic points as always from BORE US.

Horus get the **** out there with that ****. Pacquiao is willing to fight a prime welterweight in miguel cotto, and floyd is fighting a guy who fights two weight divisions than him. and dont come to me with that bull**** theory of floyd not being a welter beceause he's only fought at 147 12.349876457678 % but i have to say that pac has been overrated for being a bum oscar ( FLOYD fought him at 154 but he was still washed up then ) , pac fought him dehyrated as ****, and also fought a fat english bum that for some reason the english like and sells tickets. Pacquiao is not in the same level as Cotto, and it's going to show from round1.

Pacquiao VS. Mayweather will be for Pound 4 Pound Surpremacy
