I like how people claim Americans have gone soft. Is Wladimir and Vitali strong now. One is a known quitter and former drug cheat. While Wladimir fights scared and has been KO'D 3 times.Comment

Th whole NBA NFL thing is a cop out. First they've always been around + ABA AFL etc. Second you're acting like Russia or wherever don't have other sports as well that draw potentially good boxers away from boxing.
In Eastern Europe Weightlifting, Powerlifting, Wrestling, Hockey, & let's not forget Russia's National Sport Combat Sambo.
Imagine someone like Alexander Karelin. 6'4 290. 9x World champion, 12x Euro Champ, 3x gold Olympics. He went 11 yrs without giving up a single point in compitition. 13yrs without losing.

Or for alot of the rest of Europe Rugby. Some of those guys are ****ing huge and really athletic.
Would any of them be great boxers had they chosen another path, who knows. But to act like you can't say the same thing for any other country is ****ing ******ed. Stop making excuses.Comment
