My god people haven't suddenly grown a foot overnight guys! None of these arguments change the fact that all these great tall, big athletes failed to materialize during Tyson or Ali's time nor that equal sized athletes from other countries dominate. I don't know if anyone else has noticed but there are no other 'big guys' from EE or anywhere that dominate like the Klitschkos!!!!!!!!

And naming NBA players is just fruitless. Running is different to throwing punches you're legs are twice the size of your arms! And heck most NFL players are big fat lumps who're there for brute force put them in a ring and they'd gas like Briggs after 1 solitary round!!!!!!!

Rosseboi and the Klits nuthuggers are right on this thing, American Heavyweights suck because tha'ts the way it is. Not because they're in NFL or NBA. Boxing ain't just about running fast, being athletic or big. Before i started boxing i was a good soccer player and had great results at 10Kilometers, but i found out that boxing was the TOUGHEST sport i've ever practice. Being punched in the face on purpose in a One on one combat sport is hard. It requires more stamina, more will, more desire, more determination and more heart than any other sport.

American are gettin softer than Eastern Europeans who needs boxing to get out of poverty. American like Western European only care about having an easy life and eating like porks, watching american idol.
That's why now american kids idolize a guy like Chuck Liddell who gets KOed 50% of the time he gets into the ring and who doesn't fight more than 2 minutes.
