He had to get out of the 140 division being big.His chin can be tested but adversity can't.He overcame all of them.Minus margarito which looms with a cloud.
He's a better boxer at 147

Cotto is gonna get KO'd. I think Cotto isnt in the best physical condition right now while Pac is in the beast mode of his career!!! People disagree with me i think but actually the longer this fight lasts the more i see Pac winning because the wars Cotto has been in lately. Also gotta consider his "suspect" stamine compared to the non ending stamina of Manny "PacMan" Pacquiao

It's incredible that so many people are still questioning what Cotto brings to the ring. First it was Cotto's chin which has looked pretty good in the WW limit and hasn't really been hurt. Not against Mosely, Margarito, or Clottey all which are stong WW. Then it was Cotto's speed. While he may not be the fastest he can find ways to neutralize it as he did to Mosely, and as he did with Judah's and won both those fights. Then it was Cotto's skill which has been improving as he is timing his punches better and being more patient behind the jab, just look at the Mosely and Clottey fight. Pacman is a great fighter and deserves the recognition he has gotten, but to assume that he will roll over Cotto is an ill conceived thought as even Freddie Roach can see that this will be the toughtest fight Manny has had recently.
