  • Cotto is Tough For Pacquiao But Winnable, Says Roach

Freddie Roach, trainer of Manny Pacquiao, sees WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto as a very tough fight for Manny. The fight is being proposed for November 14 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Roach says Cotto is a very hard opponent to beat because of his power, youth and size. He says Pacquiao has to fight without making any mistakes. [details]

I respect Pac too much to say he has no chance, but I think Cotto KO's him. I don't see Pac beatin a prime WW.

LOl at your "brutal KO" Gimme a break at least roach is being realistic about this.

Roach said it would most likely go 12 .

And thats if he fights a perfect fight.

Cotto by early KO. pacquiao can hang with 140lbers with no defense and 147lb old drained and way past prime fighters but Cotto brings Intelligence Timing Strength and much more weight the night of the fight.

Cotto by KO 8th round after dreaking manny down with his crisp jabs

which is why it'll be even greater if he does win..

Hes not in the best position to beat somebody as big as cotto who pacs tons of power and has good speed and timing. Its lights out for the pinoy star

here's a valid reason y I think cotto is gonna lose...

he's not smart enough to beat pacquiao.. size won't matter against pacman.. if he's been sparring with middles and lightheavies constantly then it shouldn't matter to him...and yes its only sparring but 40+ some rounds in a single training camp is insane no matter how u slice it... pac is built for war..

tell me whats gonna happen once pac adjusts to cotto's power? And let's not talk about Cotto's head movement/defense.. cotto has to fight a real smart fight and not just bull-rush in...
