Well since you are the one that knows he quit explain it to me to prove you are not an idiot, good luck, cause he didn't quit IDIOT. If you want to see an example of quitting look at Ortiz and Lontchi and I'm not even mad at Ortiz either, he took tremendous punishment. Lontchi....well he's a *****. Let's see what you got man prove that Cotto quit.

Torres may be the real deal...but being knocked out twice and a win over Holt hasn't proved much yet. Who has he shown he can KO with all his power???? BUMS. the paper dont lie.

            1 punch knock-Out Power...

            Torres>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Margarito.

Torres puts people out or drops them with one clean shot.

Margarito uses his incredible work rate and thudding almost concrete like punches to slowly break down his opponents over a long period of time...Usally begins sometime around the 6th round(for whatever reason) anyway Margarito is to slow a puncher to ever create the type of K.O punch that Torres can deliver.

            That's just PBCS broseph.

Boxers go down and shake their heads "no" it doesn't mean they don't want to continue. Boxers shake their heads when they make mistakes or get hit.

Do you honestly think that his corner asked him if he wanted to continue from where they were?? How would they ask him that? Obviously he wouldn;t have heard them so what sign would Cotto's uncle have done to ask him if he wanted to continue?

it was the same "no" head movement when ortiz quit and when morales didn't want anymore in the 3rd fight w/ pac.

It's ridiculous if you look at the video Cotto's uncle is inside of the ring and then Cotto turns his face to them. If he had quit he would have told the ref that he didnt want to continue. I'm sure you've seen boxers go down and shake their heads.

Please man Ortiz walked away from the ref and I believe he even waved his hand. No comparison man. Cotto got up and was ready to fight.

I usually don't argue these ****** ass points because it was over a year ago and Cotto has got himself back at the top of the WW division and who really cares...

                      But for arguments sake...

                      Pullcounter,

By your interpretation of the events you see Cotto getting up from the knee and shaking his head no at his corner as a sign that he didn't want to continue.

That's fine but remember that's just your interpretation of the events.

                      How about this.

Cotto gets up from the canvas and see's his Uncle/Trainer Evangelista getting up on the ring about to throw in the towel...Cotto looks at his Trainer and shakes his head no...Don't stop the fight.

Both scenarios can be taken away from the video.

and unless you have that Sookie from TrueBlood mind reading power and where at the fight close enough to Cotto to use it.

Your argument is just as good as anybody's...but not any better.
