At 24-0 Cotto was in a shootout similar to the one Victor was in this Saturday...

I know that alot of people are giving Ortiz **** for not continuing that fight but the fact of the matter was that his right eye was cut and his left eye was swelling, even if he had continued, it would have stopped or have been stopped eventually. I just thought it was ****ed up that Ortiz said he had to evaluate his career cause he didn't think he deserved that kind of damage. If your a boxer you better expect that kind of a war every time.Comment

But Cotto was physically prepared. Torres didn't have a full camp and appeared gassed as the fight went on. There may have very well been a different outcome if Torres was in full fighting shape.Comment

It also might have been a different fight if Cotto had more time to prepare for him. He could have bring a better strategy to start the fight and Torres is not know for having great stamina so i doubt it would have made a difference.

OK dude, I'm trying to be a good ****in' poster here, but guys like you keep pushing the button. All I'm saying is if Torres had a full ****in' camp, he may have been in better shape, right, isn't that what happens when you have a full ****in' camp. He took the fight on short notice dude, do you realize that. He gassed. If he was in better shape, he would have been able to take the punches better, he would have been able to continue pressing Cotto and creating punching opportunities. Somehow guys like you turn every ****in' thing into a Cotto is the best fighter that ever lived scenario. You're making me a Cotto hater again, is that what you wanted, for me to start calling Cotto a ****in' cheater again, well guess what, you've accomplished it, good job.Comment
