Either way you look at it, this is definitely a fight that people want to see and lets just hope it gets made.
Green Tells Carl Froch "He Will Knock Him Out"

as good as green is and as good of a ass whooping i think he would give froch for the whole fight, i don't think green can handle froch's punch. if he was getting stunned by mccrary and everyone else he's fought since, it seems like he's had shaky legs a few times in the ring by guys with not that much power or glancing blows. i think he can stay away form froch and not get hit clean, he can win, and maybe he can rip some good combos to KD froch, but i don't think he will be able to take a solid shot on the chin by froch...............
one thing i know, i sure as hell want to see them fight, i don't see this fight going past the 8th in a true guns a blazing type fight. hell yeah!Comment

Nice one Winky...
Most of these posters are clueless..
Greens career has been peppered & blighted with excuses, injuries, attitude problems & concluded by way of getting KTFO by Miranda.. He remains as a fringe contender..
Meanwhile, Froch has set about his work with determination, heart & enough power to KTFO 2 time B/Hop conquerer, Taylor.. He remains an undefeated world champ..
Green has a cheek to even suggest, that he belongs in this type of company...Last edited by mickey malone; 06-29-2009, 04:18 AM.Comment

People forget that the docs tried to pull Froch out of the Taylor fight because he had a cornea ulcer.
Froch can fight a A LOT better than he showed against Taylor.
If this fight is in Nottingham, you will see what all the fuss around Froch is about.
He will start a lot faster next time and conceded that after the Taylor fight.
Jermain would beat Green IMO.Comment

I love how six months ago half of NSB was saying that Froch was a nobody. However, this doesn't make sense for Froch. Unifying the division would be a lot more fruitful for him, and for his legacy considering that he hasn't got THAT long left in his career.Comment
