Haven't heard a peep about who or when he might be fighting next. I would expect him back in the ring around October though.

      Ward's beaten the better opposition.

Green has looked great against lesser comp but has also shown a tendency to make ****** mistakes and hasn't beaten anyone in the top 20 at the weight. He also is prone to drama outside the ring in the form of talking a big game but always blowing his opportunities for bigger fights, including burning bridges with ESPN.

Froch wants Bute. If that doesn't come off, he'd take a mandatory in England. Who's number 1 contender? None other then Andre Ward.

Green better pray hard if he thinks Froch will fight him next. Froch wants the best fights, which is great for 168. Bute/Kessler/Andrade/Balzay, he'd fight any of them.
Who did Taylor beat to get a crack at Froch???

Taylor dominated Lacy in a title eliminator to become the WBC mandatory. Not to mention his history with the WBC, having been their MW champ and his past accomplishments in that division. When you beat a legend, twice, even controversially, you tend to get better fights than guys who fight the Codringtons and De Leon Jrs of the world.

Green has been at SMW for years and hasn't beaten anyone of Lacy's caliber. Not even a shot Lacy.

I believe he could, but he isn't getting into the fights he needs to in order to prove himself a deserving contender.
