Froch can fight a A LOT better than he showed against Taylor.

If this fight is in Nottingham, you will see what all the fuss around Froch is about.

He will start a lot faster next time and conceded that after the Taylor fight.

    Jermain would beat Green IMO.
Getting a bit tired of hearing this from Froch fans.

We heard similar excuses after the Pascal fight; "Froch was injured in training," and "Froch let the home crowd get to him and fought a ****** fight; he could've won much more easily."

Froch's last two opponents have been the best he's ever fought. From here on he will probably be fighting good opponents. It stands to reason that how he looked against Pascal and Taylor is simply how he will always look when matched against better opposition.

He's a tough, determined fighter who has won his last two fights fair and square, but he's never going to be someone who is consistently able to look good and outbox the man in front of him. Keep coming forward and wear them down? Yes. Outbox them? Not so much.

No need to make excuses for him. He is what he is.

I would pick Green to stop Froch.

Any news on a Taylor return? He still has a few good fights left in him.

Isn't Pavlik-Froch on early next year though?

          Green will have to wait.

For most of the fight with Taylor I was thinking Froch didn't even belong in there with him, and that Green would ko both of these guys.....how Ward's name is mentioned in the title picture before Green's baffles me????

He's 31 now, and he isn't going to change into the next James Toney, he's a very very tough fighter with great heart, iron chin, good power and an unorthodox style. His fights are exciting and are good to watch. I don't see anything wrong with that.

I also think his display against Pascal is underrated.

i tink people here are underrestmating green....froch i think can't take a hard hitting puncher punches for 12 rounds. and green hits hard.

on the other hand i anit counting froch out, he proved he can hang with the elite fighters, so he might beat green by UD
