if tunney watched basketball he would probably claim sasha vujacic was the mvp of the league.

Sounds familiar.. The next big thing in the British press was Audley Harrison and then Amir Khan! This was going off the back of them fighting binmen and school teachers, and being hailed as the next great BRITISH hope. Yet fighters like Hatton, Calzaghe just slip under the presses radar, receive no real attention until they actually do something in the ring!

Yeah it was. The fact they got Ortiz to further exploit his childhood and put his father on the spot, just for the sake of marketing Ortiz kinda bugged me out the moment I saw it. They were yet again gettin into his life, like he's already made it in boxing, like he already has all the answers in the ring. This is boxing lol, not family services. You're suppose to keep that **** in house anyways. You keep that within your fam. Just cause Mayweather shed those fake tears about his family, the same way he cried after the Gatti fight lmao, it doesn't make this kind personal **** cool to see on TV, or to air on TV. Aside from that, once Ortiz couldn't muscle this out he started talkin about quitting. Either he let all this work against him, or he actually doesn't have a desire to fight anymore....If 1 thing he should know out of all this, is that his fight game is no where near perfected (and that he really needs to confront his pops). He's fast yeah, strong yeah, skillfull...not soo much. If he later cools off and chooses this as his profession, he's gonna need to open his mind to that 3rd boxing dimension.

You can't just prey on your own rage to help you get success in the ring, it takes a level head, for leveled aggression.

Why the hell wouldn't you be jealous of someone who has never fought a title fight, is only 22 and still about as green a prospect as you can get, and has probably already earned more money than Campbell?

                      I would be righteous pissed!
