Ricky Hatton To Face Steve Forbes in Manchester?

i think forbes gets the ko in this fight. if he was able to bust DLH eye socket the way he did, and hatton's chin getting blasted the way it did, and the way he responded to lazcano's shot to the chin, i think forbes can ko hatton. at least in this fight, and forbes is the smaller guy who has always had a light punch.

Contender stars are being used as litmus tests (Gomez for Gatti, Forbes for Hatton/De La Hoya). Ricky will probably wrestle his way to a UD, but I so would love for Forbes to win. This will probably be his second best payday (next to his fight with DLH).

You guys are entitled to your own opinion but i think it's crazy to think that someone as feather-fisted as Forbes will beat Hatton at 147. Forbes has real good handspeed but unlike Pacquiao, he doesn't have the power to cope with Hatton's pressure.

Hatton looked real drained at 140 in the weigh in, but that's no excuse that he lost to Pacquiao because they both weighed in 150+ on fight night. Maybe now, Hatton will be use to 147 after two tough bouts with Collazo and Mayweather. I'd give Hatton a chance against the shorter WW's like Berto and Cotto who are like 5'7" and can't fight well when being pressured. Imo.

i think hatton can still pull the trigger.....he only lost to 2 p4p best fighter...
and the people calling him a bum is more bum and a complete moron than hatton.....cotto suffered a tremedous knockout loss to margo and face a real bum in his comeback but no one ever said that cotto is a bum.....thats the same way with hatton....im not a fan of hatton but im not also a hater that looksdown a fighter cuz of his recent defeats without giving credit on what he has done.....
