Citing anonymous sources that are close to Ricky Hatton's camp, News of The World reports that Hatton is planning to return to the ring in the next few months in his backyard of Manchester. Hatton's career has been in limbo since last month's two-round KO loss to Manny Pacquiao. I had a feeling if Ricky fought again it would be at 147. He didn't look healthy at all at the weigh in against Pac and he weighed in dead on 140. That could also explain the shaky chin against Manny if he felt the weight affected him. Would be a good tune up fight if it happened.Comment

I want Hatton to retire after this fight. I don't want people to get the false illusion that he will be able to beat elite fighters if he wins this fight against a powder puff puncher. People made the same mistake after he beat Paulie. Even if he blows Forbes out of the water, you can't say whether or not Hatton is back to form.Last edited by Iceta; 06-27-2009, 05:20 PM.Comment
