    that said......paul williams sucks balls.
No, he was hated here perhaps worse than now before I joined in April 2007.

He receives more hatred on ESB, worse than here. That's why I never post there anymore, it would drive me insane.

Paul Williams is my favorite American fighter, he's going to do very, very well in the years to come.

      why would anyone hate wlad?

he has a boring style since he went with steward but no reason to hate the guy.

it's not like he ducks people like others do or beat up on fan favorite , beloved fighters.

I gaurantee that if he were to go in there, not waste time, get his opponent out of there in the time he should for his physical and mental attributes, he would get some shine from all fans.

it isnt about being american or non american, its about entertainment.
Maybe it _IS_ about "american or non american".

It seems that the americans prefer messy slugfests. While Europeans prefer clinical perfection and flawless domination.

Why do people hate the best boxers? Joe Calzaghe used to receive a lot of negative attention, and Floyd Mayweather has been hated on a lot since he announced he will be returning.

Do some people expect the best boxers to be flawless supermen, like comic book characters? Or is it just ENVY?

What kind of people do most of this hating? Is it losers who have never accomplished anything positive in their own lives?
I think the bottom line is Wlad doesn't live up to great fighters of the 90's Tyson, Holyfield and Lewis. Wlad is also a pretty boring fighter now that Emanual Stewart is in his corner. He might be better defensively and skillfully but his style is meant to win on points now. There's also fighters that Tyson would have had out of there in a round or two that took Wlad deep into the fight. Wlad is good and better than the rest, but he will never be a super star and it has nothing to do with his race or where he's from. I'm a fan of his but I keep it real.

he'd beat both of those ****s.

              the 90's heavies were overrated.

              they had exciting fights though.

how many fights did gatti, ward, corrales lose? Lots but people loved them because they went war & kept people on the edge of their seats as did Tyson,Holyfield & sometimes lennox too(not always thou).I'd give wlad his do if he would go out & destroy arreola & haye in the 1st round...but he doesn't that's the problem.he's far superior in skill & size yet he fights like a timid little strawweight.you could lose 10 fights but if you lose in a hard fought battle you will earn the fans respect more than if you went undefeated but bored people to death.klit fans are about finess & skill while hardcore fans like bloodbaths,slugfests.2 different types of fans.I am hardcore & like the wars of the 90's & I haven't been satified with a heavyweight fight in almost 10 years.

I've got around 2500 heavyweight fights on DVDs.I've got contacts all over the world.I've been able to get golota fights on camcorder people made, etc.I'm not a klit hater,I just don't enjoy their fights.I own ALL of their fights.75% are in german so I've never been influenced by the commentary.I just wish they'd obliterate some top heavies in 1 or 2 rounds.they do that to arreola & haye you watch how much positive posting will overwhelm this site.I gaurentee people wouldn't crap on them.the heavyweight division is not like any of the other weight classes.it's the king of kings.people will follow a warrior king with respect & honor, nobody would support a timid king who was afraid of war.wlad has never been in a tough fight.the peter fight was not a war either so don't bring that fight up.

if he blows guys out in the early rounds the support will come.it's the hurt buisness & you are suppose to hurt your opponent.the quicker you destroy them the better.I have a dangerous job & I risk falling to my death everyday.I earn my respect & I respect every other Ironworker who puts themselves in harms way...do you think I would respect & put my life at risk for a boss who was scared of heights? Not a chance! wlad doesn't take risks in his fights so why would anyone other than his fans respect him.real champions take risks but he doesn't.
