That is why no one knows or cares about Wlad.

! It's ok to surrender in Europe, they've be doing it for centuries.canadians & Americans are warriors.ww1 the allies couldn't take vimy ridge.100000 died trying to take the ridge for 6 months.canada showed up & took the ridge in 1 day! Ww2 Canada & the states stormed the beaches of Normandy & took the cliffs.the turning point in both world wars didn't happen until Canada showed up.we like fighting in hockey & skate through the opponent while Europeans skate AROUND their opponents.that's why north Americans like wars in the ring not chess matches.Europeans are smarter while north Americans are stronger.two totally different types of fans.Europeans drive scooters, north Americans ride harley davidsons...two totally different opinions, lifestyles.

Most White Americans and White Limey's are so use to seeing their White Heavyweight Hopes crushed and smacked around the ring after years of built up Hype they can't imagine all these Russians, Ukrainians and other former Soviet Bloc fighters coming in and taking over the Heavyweight division...

They would have to admit they're tougher and smarter fighters, Anglo's think they're superior to everyone deep down, it's why they enslaved people for 300 years and tried to colonize Africa and kill all its people, it was Anglo's from Britain that started the U.S. Slave Trade, it was Anglo's from Britain that killed millions in South Africa and everywhere else they went...

It was also Anglo's in Australia that exterminated the native Tasmanian Blacks that had been there for 50,000 years prior, they killed them all in just a few years with a gun in one hand and a Bible in the other...

Watch the movie "Rabbit Proof Fence", it's about Australian racism that was a government sponsored effort to breed out the blacks there before their numbers got too large to where they couldn't be "Bred Extinct".

American and British and Australian "Anglo's" for the most part see themselves as the superior white people, that "Slavics" from Russia, etc are Barbarians plus you had the Cold War which produced lots of Hatred...

You have to know history to see the Hate that spawns from Americans and Brits towards successful athletes from the former Soviet Bloc Nations...

100% GUARANTEED, if the Klitschko Brothers were White Americans or Black Americans or Hispanic Americans they'd be the biggest Pay Per View draws in Boxing History here!!! Don't believe me? Just wait and see if Chris Arreola wins a Heavyweight title... sports channels will explode with coverage, his fights will be on PPV and draw huge numbers, it's called "Tribalism" and it's everywhere.

Another word for Tribalism is Racism...

If you read history books you'll see that "Anglo's" are the new "Romans".

I gaurantee that if he were to go in there, not waste time, get his opponent out of there in the time he should for his physical and mental attributes, he would get some shine from all fans.

it isnt about being american or non american, its about entertainment. entertain the people and they will love you. its the freakin HW division for michael jack's sake.

Why do people hate the best boxers? Joe Calzaghe used to receive a lot of negative attention, and Floyd Mayweather has been hated on a lot since he announced he will be returning.

Do some people expect the best boxers to be flawless supermen, like comic book characters? Or is it just ENVY?

What kind of people do most of this hating? Is it losers who have never accomplished anything positive in their own lives?
this is a very vaild thread.

When you reach the top (of anything not just boxing) everyone (media, fans, experts, etc.) all put you under their microscope. Your real fans stand by you and the rest criticize you and hope and wait for your demise.

thats how it is...when you reach the top everyone (fighters) wants to fight you and take your position...when you reach the top everyone (media, fans, critics) want to see you lose.

Thats how all sports are and all other aspects of life...

look at the patriots after they won all those superbowls... everyone hated them...look at the cowboys...everyone hates them for their winning ways...same goes for the yankees in baseball and same goes for guys like mayweather in boxing, wlad, and so on.

once you reach the top in a sense its like hitting bottom...

I personally like what wlad and floyd are doing in the ring...they are (whether you want to admit it or not) some of the best in their respective divisions.

wlad (in my opinion) is the biggest fish in the pond (he's the best heavyweight currently in my opinion...bar none)...the only problem is that pond isnt very big (its true...there isnt anyone to really challenge him lately)...

Thats where some of the wlad hate comes from in my opinion...you got his fans arguing he's the undisputed champion and you have his critics arguing he only appears so dominat because his opponents aren't of substance.

floyd kind of created his own hate if you ask me...all the ****yness and flash outside of the ring just made people hate him in general...his attitude during what led up to the oscar v. floyd fight really sealed the deal for him...he played the bad guy against a fighter who was arugably the most loved fighter of his time. So that didnt help him out.

                  its all opinion though...
