To make a comparison, just cause Steve Largent is in the NFL Hall of Fame, doesn't mean he's held to the same standard as Jerry Rice.

Overall, I just think that the names of Ali, SRR, SRL, Joe Louis, Frazier, Tyson, Holyfield, Holmes, Liston carry more weight than their white counterparts.

What do you mean SOME white men are in the HOF?

Whites have the most mofos in the boxing HOF than anybody.

    LOL

The arcticle..and your argument are missdirected.

PBF still has time to repair his image before his body betrays him

Those others don't get nobody mainstream talking. Nobody gives a damn about 80% of those dudes.

I do agree about one guy...Andre Ward, he has potential to really do something

I don't see any mexican mega stars either

Why not **** on them with a dumb article??

I don't see puerto ricans mega stars.

Where's the corny slap at them???

        Oscar just retired

JCC Jr is becoming a huge star like it or not

Miguel Cotto just sold 18K live seats 2 weeks ago

That's what the article was getting at.

And I said I know there are plenty of white people in the HoF, I'm not dis*****g that, but can any of them really old timers really **** with the skill sets of the fighters I mentioned? On the whole...

I would summise that most ATG lists at the top will feature more blacks than whites up top. There is a difference in being an ATG than being inducted in the HoF

          NFL...NBA...MLB...

I usually don't post mostly read, but this is the dumbest comment of all the dumb race comments I've seen on this DETERIORATING discussion.

First, most of the music and cultural sports subjects you mention are either two things: either historically a black cultural phenomenon or two a sport where size becomes the obvious advantage. Hip-Hop be-bop, jazz etc. are all forms of black music, why would Pinoys excel in them? This dude must be joking me...

As for sports, a country produces more and more champs in any type of sport when the culture is conducive to it. I.E. African American basketball players are abundant whereas players actually from Africa are not. It's the culture of American Basketball mixed with the athleticism of African Americans (Just an example). So now when it comes to boxing and Pinoys, the boxing sport for both fil-ams and overseas is fairly young. Hopefully over the years with a boxer like Paqc. the realization of excelling in something where size isn't given the instant advantage like other popular sports, Filipinos will excel.

And I'm not even trying to down any other race like the rest of yall. I know race makes fights and what not, but some of you internet fools really feel good releasing endorphins tearing down other races huh? To that all I gotta say is....HI HATERS!

          Stay in school...

that is a good point....there is hardly any supersatrs. we have stars but handful of superstars in boxing.

Your always posting the same kinda articles from the same biased website... it is beginning to take the piss. Is it just some sort of coincidence how the majority of the articles you post are from examiner and are either to be critical towards Floyd or positive towards Pacquiao... seriously its beginning to take the piss.

I honestly just seems like you post it because you believe it or find it interesting, cause I never see you posting anything of an article that is positive towards Floyd.

Do you agree with any of this article?

Regardless of boxing's popularity..Black Americans have the gene pool to ALWAYS produce plenty ATG level fighters in all kinds of weight classes.

Spacey, you're completely taking things regarding Floyd "WAY TOO SERIOUSLY." If articles like this upset you, go to the source and leave your comments there. In this case, it would be at the Examiner.com

And by the way, I've never said I disliked Mayweather. He's good but I know that the Pacman will beat him eventually. JAT
