1 he gets stripped of the title
2 he gets knocked down and out (literally)
Other way of being stopped is simply uninteresting

Vitali does not have the power to stop Valuev.
Valuev will be pummeled severely.

Volodymyr has more hand speed in while both have raw power but Vitali does have powerful, thudding punches.
While he may not have quite as good 1 punch KO power as Vova his punches do hurt and unlike his brother he doesn't hesitate to follow up if he does hurt you. As alot of people have said before he's alot more mean in the ring.
vs Danny Williams he shot a little 5 inch left hook that turned Williams legs into spaghetti.
His fight with Sanders and Lewis along with Lyakhovich vs Brewster are probably the 3 most exciting heavyweight fights since 02/03 to now
I don't understand people who say his fight with Gomez was boring? wtf. That was a very entertaining fight, not quite as good as the 3 listed above but not too far off.
While Valuev has a concrete pumpkin for a head i can see Vitali dropping him. Then following up and the ref jumping in to stop it, that said i'll wait till it's absolutly confirmed until getting my hopes up cuz anytime King is involved with a Klitschko he'll do anything to avoid fighting them. Especially since once Valuev loses his belt King has no more serious fighters.
Will it be the first time since the 70's since King doesn't have control of a Hvy Champ?Last edited by Mikhnienko; 06-25-2009, 02:28 AM.

Mixed emotions about this fight if it gets made.
On the plus side, hopfeully Valeuv will lose, collect his paycheck and retire forever. And if we're lucky, Vitali will KHTFO, not a TKO (which is what I expect) but BOOM!
And the down side, its gonna be boring, it has to be, Valeuv is in the ring. And i've got a bad feeling about this one already, what if Vitali breaks his fists hitting that fat head repeatadly and cant continue (or gets another shoulder injury?) Maybe Don King is gonna fix it if it goes to points. Imagine how bad it'll be if that hairy giant somehow wins. But my biggest (most realistic) fear about this is that the WBA are gonna be complete wankers about this fight. They'll probably strip him before the fight for not fighting Chag to see who is the "real" WBA cahmp and say Chag is their champion or some **** like that.
Oh well, I'll look on the brightside for now. Come on Vit, knock that freak out to **** and get rid of him forever!!!!

Klitschko-Valuev Update!
Bernd Bönte, the managing director of Klitschko Management Group, has commented on reports that WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko could be facing WBA heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev in a heavyweight unification fight later this year. “We are at the moment not interested in a fight against Valuev,” Bönte said via email. “Vitali has other options which make more sense and are more intersting for the fans and the media (eg.Haye, Arreola). Valuev had the chance to fight Wladimir last weekend but he declined contrary to Chagaev. Should Valuev beat Ruiz in his mandatory we can maybe think about a fight with Wladimir or Vitali beginning of next year. And the WBA title is not a big deal anymore, because Wladimir beat the WBA champion in recess Chagaev by knockout and Chagaev had beaten Valuev. The win of the Ring Magazine championship belt means way way more to us!”
Looks like the fight isn't done.
