**** all that where the hell are the die hard Cotto fans when you need them? 50/50 Cotto has a bigger following at very least he should get 40% and really he should get 50% because of all the tedious ****ing demands that have been made. i can't believe i'm gonna do this but I am. Atleast Cotto fought Margorito, Mosely,Clottey & Judah at weights that were regulated for the divison. Pacman & Roach have only won two fights against a way past it weight drained Oscar and a mentally shot Hatton that literally walked right into every punch. I give him no credit whatsoever for beating slow broken fighters. This Cotto taking 35% is nonsense, no wonder they ducked Shane he would only go to 40% and 144. Pacman & Roach are a joke.

It should be 60/40... 70/30 is a big insult to Cotto..

So are you gonna call Cotto slow and broken when Manny stops him?

Oscar sold that fight, and I don't even like Oscar. I'm a pacquiao and cotto fan. Roach is trying to screw Cotto of a pay-day against Pacquiao.

I have to admit, a fight between Oscar and Cotto does better than Pacman vs Oscar did. I say this because of the fan base between Mexicans and Puerto Ricans.

These numbers have nothing to do with the talent level of the fighter, that's why I don't understand these people here arguing about them. Granted, those numbers will dictate whether the fight is made or not but that doesn't reflect in any way the level of the fighter.

I think Floyd recently got his ego bruised by learning that people don't want to see him vs JMM as much as he thought. Now, him vs Pacman is a different story because most people think that's the more exciting and intruiging fight style wise.

Lesson learned in all of this: Oscar DeLaHoya was the main money earner in boxing for oever a decade and none of these fighters will equal his numbers so get over it.

For once I agree with you DLH was by far the biggest money making machine in boxing and none of the current fighters have a chance to equal his numbers. And anyone who thinks Cotto vs DLH wouldn't have sold more than Pac vs DLH is just plain dumb. Manny is were he is thanks to not only his skills but very opportune timing, he got his break thanks to Plasterito.

To tell you the truth I couldn't give a **** about the split, these guys are both going to make a ****load of money. Pac's going to need his extra share after Cotto beats him.

I cant even remember the last time Manny fought on a non PPV fight. Even his fight with Solis and Larios were on PPV. Cotto vs Clottey was on regular HBO.
Yes, Shodumb, I AM saying Hatton vs Cotto would have done the same if not MORE than Hatton vs Pac.... if you think I'm the only on this site who believes that then you Sho R Dumb....

Cotto was headlining PPV fights before Pac learned how to wipe his ass...
