Alot of these guys think it's still the 1970's, and overlook the huge money casinos bring. If that was the case megafights would be held in football and baseball stadiums.

the main reason for boxing events in vegas is the casino money like you said but there's one other reason, lackluster ticket sales. the casinos make up for lackluster ticket sales. why you think the nba, mlb and nfl dont need casinos? cuz they do great ticket sales so they have stadiums and arenas cuz the ticket sales wont be a problem even though the prices are crazy high. you cant have boxing in stadiums cuz the tickets wont sell.
