Nah, he is shot. When you get old, your afraid to pull the trigger because well your old... which means your shot. When your young, you can take chances because you heal faster and have alot more vitality. When your old, you heal slow, and your vitality is lower. So the consequences of taking chances are too great when it comes to old guys.
He doesn't have the same speed and timing. He always relied on natural talent, never his brain. Which is why he doesn't do well now that he is old. Speed went down, timing is off. So he cant pull the same **** when he was young.
So, yeah, he is shot.Comment

roy in his prime and present roy are two different fighters. watch his prime, his speed and reflexes aren't there anymore. calzaghe wouldn't have beat prime roy the way he did. prime roy wouldn't have been 3-3 in his past 6 fights before cal and he wouldn't have been knocked out by johnson and tarver.Comment

I agree. He needs to let his hands go more and act as if he were starting his career over.
He's likely also suppressing his killer instinct and hunger, but his body at his age won't allow him to do much at this stage.
If he gets cold ****ed again, I say he should hang'em up for the last time.Comment

This was taken from an interview on another site.
QUESTION: Ms. Muhammad, may I ask you if in fact the IBF was the lead organization for the Jones-Hall championship fight in May 2000?
MMUHAMMAD: No, it was the WBA's lead...
QUESTION: May I ask you then why did the letters notifying Roy Jones, Jr. and Hall about their positive tests for anabolic steroids came from the IBF?
MMUHAMMAD: Because they tested positive for substance(s) that are supposed to be banned by our organization. Roy took our title into the ring; it doesn't matter who the lead organization was. It doesn't matter if you tested positive for something that was against any of the organization's rules.Comment
