If I was handling Haye there is just no way I would ever put him in with Vitali. He seriously has absolutely no chance whatsoever of beating Vitali. Against Wlad he could potentially land a big bomb and take him out, but Vitali's chin is just way too good. So yeah, Haye fights Vitali and he gets completely destroyed.

Solis was the overwhelming favourite to win at that time, being much more experienced. And the fight was a tremendous battle, with both fighters throwing everything and both taking counts. And Haye was not out on his feet! You obviously haven't watched the fight!

In any case, Tyson lost in the amateurs to Tyrell Biggs and Henry Tillman. What happens in the amateurs is meaningless in terms of predicting what will happen in the pros.

As well, he was knocked down and nearly stopped by little Lolenga Mock, a super middleweight journeyman.

And Solis wasn't any more experienced in 2001 than David Haye. He didn't participate in the 2000 Olympics.
          Glass houses buddy.

Your boy lost to some pretty ****ty fighters too.

And yes, Tyson at about age 17 lost in the amateurs, but Haye was 21 when Solis stopped him. If I'm not mistaken, Tyson already won a world title by that age.

He was never stopped by a 41 year old light heavyweight.

Purrity, age 30 at the time, is a big man and was 25 pounds heavier than Wlad at the time. Wladimir, who had never been past 6 rounds before because he was KOing everybody early, won the first ten rounds of that fight.

Sanders and Brewster were heavyweights and hard punchers.

Lennox Lewis didn't have his first title fight until he was 27 - so what? Different fighters mature differently.

The Carl Thompson fight was like the Puritty fight - Haye just punched himself out, in only his 11th professional fight. That was just naive tactics, nothing to do with his chin.

Solis had a lot more amateur fights than Haye and beat Felix Savon twice.

And why did you say that Haye was out on his feet agianst Solis when he wasn't? I've just re-watched the video, and although he was taking punishment, he was in full possession of his faculties.

Setanta went into administration today. They are already belly up.

Haye promotes himself in the UK and GBP already promotes him in the US. He's already got a strong relationship with HBO via GBP, but he needs a new UK TV backer, and his only real option is Sky.

Tunney's got no shame Rado. He'd defend Wladdy if he went on a pre-school rampage and shot up the principal.
If Haye k.o's Wladdy he'll say Haye loaded his gloves and drugged Wladdy. Or that Wladdy was shot.

He'll come up with something. Its just his way.
