  • David Haye Eyes Ring Return For September

Adam Booth, manager and trainer of David Haye, told Sky Sports that his charge would be ready and available for a fight in September, ideally against either of the Klitschko brothers. [details]

Wladimir needs to fight Povetkin by Sep 13, and then the winner of Chambers-Dimitrenko (who will become the WBO mandatory) by the end of the year.

Vitali will seek a fight with Valuev, but if that doesn't work out, he'll choose either Haye or Arreola. Haye presents no threat to Vitali whatsoever, while Arreola has a slim chance of defeating him. I would prefer he get rid of Haye first, and leave Arreola for 2010, perhaps Vitali's final fight.

This sounds good. 1 of the K bros or face Arreola.

Why do you give Arreola more of a chance against Vitali than Haye? Not hating just wondering!

He should go for Arreola - that would be an awesome fight!

personally, i think Arreola has the better chance (not much of a chance at that) because of his aggression and ability to take a K out of his comfort zone... Haye will try to box more and still be cautious.... Arreolas work rate and pressure what he has going for him, which still isnt much but its more than Haye...

i just hope whoever fights is a good fight...

Arreola has good power, one heavyweight has gone the distance with him. He's taken a lot of punches from big men, but taken a knee only once, against Travis Walker, who's a hard puncher.

Haye has a similar KO percentage but in a smaller weight division, and he's been down a lot, even put on the canvas by the super middleweight Lolenga Mock. I can't imagine Haye will survive very long in the ring with Vitali.
