and Manny went up but made DLH go down so like I said in another thread..(same one I quoted my self from)..

You cut down 25lbs in 8 weeks and have someone gain 10lbs in muscle mass in 8 weeks and fight him..than give me your results..

til then..you won't understand how someone who is weight drained really feels..DLH needed IV's put in him before the fight cuz he was so dehydrated..hence why Manny ran his ass over so easily..DLH from 98 would have DEMOLISHED that same Manny from last Dec..but if DLH looked that strong..Manny wouldn't have gone anywhere near that water!..and you know it!..

The fight will be for Cotto's WBO WW BELT..WW= 147lbs!!...I already don't like Catchweight fights..cuz there's too many advantages and disadvantages as it is..but Manny is goin for the belt but won't let the opposition weigh in at the belt holders divisions weight?!..that's BULL****!..

Manny wants Mayweather, Cotto, and Mosley and they all want him..but they can all fight eachother and leave Manny at 140..but who will he fight there???...he automatically wants one of them..and will do what he can to put them at a weight disadvantage..

    MANNY..SHOULD FIGHT JMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

if JM is in pac's situation against cotto. what would be your reaction

This equates to a loss of 0.25 lbs or 1/4 lbs per week to make the weight comfortably by fight night. Cotto could lose the 3 lbs in 5 weeks, leaving potentially 7 weeks to lose no weight at all and work on strategy. Why are people crying? Scared?

keep hoping that this fight does not come off I guess!
Wouldn't it be just as easy for Manny to gain 0.25 lbs or 1/4lbs, or 2/8 of a lb, or 4/16 of a lb per week to make the weight comfortably by fight night? Manny could gain the 3 lbs in 5 weeks, leaving potentially 7 weeks to gain no weight at all and work on strategy. Why are people crying? Scared? Aint it funny how when a argument is weak it could be reversed so easy? Quit trying to sound smart, keep hoping Manny gets an easy fight against another drained fighter.

To fight in the damn division or look for opposition in your own division..there's a reason for these and weight limits..

This isn't a chess tournament..these guys beat their bodies up to make weight and to have some dude pound on it..**** ain't as easy as it sounds..

First, it is your opinion as to "what is considered weak" and the reality of who is the money draw here. Should the guy with a smaller frame fight at a weight where a guy he is fighting re-hydrates to a middle weight weight at fight night?

Pac is the draw and it does not matter who he fights, they will have to make the weight losses if they want that check- that is the way it works man; sorry you are a die-hard Cotto fan but it is just the way the dice rolls. I like Cotto, Mosley,Mayweather but none of these guys come close by a "country mile" to drawing like Manny does.

Next time you want to argue, come correct with your original ideas and stop regurgitating someone else's words in attempt to simplify your needed efforts to support your case!!

BY THE WAY: DID PAC FIGHT A WEIGHT DRAINED HATTON WHEN HE KO'D HIM IN UNDER THREE RDS AT HIS "BEST WEIGHT" AND WAS IT NOT MORE OF A CASE THAT DE LA HOYA LOST WEIGHT BECAUSE HE THOUGHT THAT HE WOULD HAVE AN EASY FIGHT AGAINST THE SHORTER GUY PACMAN?

I lke both fighters. I'm not Pinoy, and I think Manny beats Cotto at 147.

I wish they would fight at 147 if only to shut up the whiners.

My difficulty with the catch weight issue is why the hell make it an issue? When Roy Jones wanted a crack at the heavyweight belt he didn't make Ruiz come down to 190lbs. Hell no he put combat boots on and rolls of quarters in his pockets just to make the limit of 193lbs. to be able to fight Ruiz...that my friends is what I loved about Roy Jones Jr. and why I believe he is ATG....and Manny Pacquiao could do the same since he said to Arum make the ****ing fight Bob. So why is it now that there is an issue with fighting at 147lbs.??? A true great would act just like Roy Jones Jr., just like Henry Armstrong, Just like Duran...who fought from lightweight all the way to Light Heavy and didn't ask all those guys to fight at a catchweight. I believe Manny is truly a great fighter but his team and his fans are ****ing it up for him.

Dude..Manny won't draw **** with out them tho!...he did what like 125k PPV buys against Diaz?..how many would he do against Bradley or Campbell??..150k-200k TOPS!..only die-hards will order those!..

Manny needs them just as much as they WANT Manny..yet Cotto can fight Mayweather at 147 aka THE WELTERWEIGHT LIMIT and easily sell 800K+ he can also fight Mosley again!..and sell 500k+..who will Manny fight and sell that big with out Mosley, Cotto, or Mayweather??..

because his team wont let Cotto come in on fight night bigger without paying a price? If he comes in on fight night at 147 then WTF is the problem with it?
