to tell you the truth, whomever said that cotto will steamroll over manny is ******ed. the only one saying that are you pinoys saying that pac will beat cotto even at 147.i like both fighters and i think is more even that what some may think thats why i would love to see them fight at 147.please dont come with the bs that manny started at 108 cuz manny has the body and strengh to be at 147. he could beat berto, collazo, quintana, jennings, gomez w/out problems.so please cut this **** that WE are crying cuz I am not. i just wanna see a good even fight. 145-147

My biggest question is if Cotto is strong and Pac dont have a chance a 147,and Pac is too small....Has never fought someone as big and strong a Cotto ...
Then WTF is the BIGissue with Cotto coming down...what 3 lbs below the WW limit?Do you HONESTLY think that 3lbs is gonna make a difference ?
Before you answer you must know the only reason that they want a SPLIT weight agreement{catchweight} is so the Bigger Stronger Cotto...Dont baloon back up to a middleweight. Its to keep it within the fairness range.

SO....If Cotto wants to have the weight edge, then he will have to put on an ass of weight before fight night and thats not good... So he better be in shape.
Stop your bitching...look forward to the fight
You want to make thread after thread about Cotto fans making a big issue about the weight. So far I haven't seen anyone ***** about it more then you and of course Freddy Roach. Ask Roach what the big deal is about 3lbs. Take your own advice and stop your bitching....look foward to the fight.

weight drained or not it is plain and simple: they are talking about November, it is July for arguments sake- 3 months away at least. This means that Cotto must go from a weigh-in weight of 147 to 144 (presumably) which means a total loss of 3 lbs in a span of 12 weeks. This equates to a loss of 0.25 lbs or 1/4 lbs per week to make the weight comfortably by fight night. Cotto could lose the 3 lbs in 5 weeks, leaving potentially 7 weeks to lose no weight at all and work on strategy. Why are people crying? Scared?

keep hoping that this fight does not come off I guess!

Manny went up to fight an ATG of the sport at 147 to test the waters...he gets **** for it, But Cotto gets his face beat in and fights Jennings to test the water for his come back fight...HMMMMMMM

I think we need to take the from Cotto. This is a grown ass man and he is a good fighter.
He will be fighting a great fighter...Instead of giving him excuses his fans need to give him his props.
Why would he be a SMW?..I didn't get that..ALL BOXERS CUT WEIGHT TO MAKE THE DIVISION LIMIT..YES..EVEN PACQUIAO!!..and weighing 165 at 5'7 doesn't make u fat..especially if it's mostly muscle..

and Manny went up but made DLH go down so like I said in another thread..(same one I quoted my self from)..

You cut down 25lbs in 8 weeks and have someone gain 10lbs in muscle mass in 8 weeks and fight him..than give me your results..

til then..you won't understand how someone who is weight drained really feels..DLH needed IV's put in him before the fight cuz he was so dehydrated..hence why Manny ran his ass over so easily..DLH from 98 would have DEMOLISHED that same Manny from last Dec..but if DLH looked that strong..Manny wouldn't have gone anywhere near that water!..and you know it!..

The fight will be for Cotto's WBO WW BELT..WW= 147lbs!!...I already don't like Catchweight fights..cuz there's too many advantages and disadvantages as it is..but Manny is goin for the belt but won't let the opposition weigh in at the belt holders divisions weight?!..that's BULL****!..

Manny wants Mayweather, Cotto, and Mosley and they all want him..but they can all fight eachother and leave Manny at 140..but who will he fight there???...he automatically wants one of them..and will do what he can to put them at a weight disadvantage..

                    MANNY..SHOULD FIGHT JMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
