If it's a problem, Cotto shouldn't sign the contract. Pretty ****ing simple dude.

So you are proud of the fact Roach and Pacquiao are looking to weight drained other people?

Well, yeah, and he admits as much in the interview.

In a perfect world, Roach wants Cotto back at 140, lol.

I hope, when Cotto has to come down to 144 or 145, that he is still in great shape and we don't have excuses if he loses. I really with Pac would take the fight at 147, but that apparently just isn't going to happen.

I think everyone has agreed then. Cotto should just look to fight other available welters. Pac should take on either the winner of Campbell-Bradley or Mosley who is not afraid to go down to 144. There would be a lot less whiny fans if the latter was to happen.

Roach is smart, he knows that at 147 Cotto would beat Pacman, so he is pushing for 143 because it would give Pacman a better chance.

I hate Catch weights. If pacman wants to be at WW then fight at 147 or look elsewhere

“I spoke with Bob and I told him I want it at 143 lb,” Roach told the Manila Bulletin Saturday. “The lower I can get him (Cotto), the better.”

What's the alternative to a catchweight... having Cotto come in at 160 to beat up a guy who weighs only 1lb over he WW limit on fight night?

You ought to be ashamed if you think that's how it should be. Stop acting like such a biased ****wit. Catchweight of 143.5 would be right in the middle of their respective weight divisions. If that isn't fair I don't know what is. If Cotto can't make 143/144, don't sign the contract and don't sell yourself out for a payday.

Personally, I don't give a **** about the weight. They can weigh 200lbs for all I care, I just want to see the fight. People take this **** too far. These are professional athletes. Let them work the details out and STFU whining.
