i agree anything below 145 cotto would be at big disadvantage .....remember he moved up to 147 cause it was killing him to make 140 lbs. and it was afeecting his performance in the ring .

We could argue all day man. Pacquiao overwhelms most of his opponents and he has fought some very smart fighters. Morales (KO'd twice), Marquez (knocked down 4 times, almost knocked down six times), Barrera (completely terrorized in the first fight), Ledwaba (fought his usual slick style but KO'd in the 6th), and so on. They fought smart, but they still lost.

I'm not all that impressed by Cotto's jab. The Clottey knockdown was pure luck because Clottey was off-balance,

145, screw going down more. A pound is a pound like a dollar's a dollar!

Anyways at least Roach admitted that Cotto wont be easy and he ain't over the hill, unlike some of the pac fan idiots in here...

143 is way to low, I think anything below 147 is too low for Cotto, and at 147 is too high for Pacquiao...

I agree, as a Cotto fan, I expect 145 to be perfect for both fighters.

Pacquiao just refuses to fight fighters at their best weight, along with refusing to fight all comers in his own division. I've been a fan of him, but if he keeps it up he isn't going to get my support anymore. Even though I've never been crazy about his smug attitude outside of the ring when it comes to being picky about fighting certain fighters, I've always thought he was good for boxing, because he is an inspiration to the people of his country in a very positive way. I never liked Floyd for cherry picking opponents, and I won't hesitate to hold Pacquiao to that same standard. He turned down Humberto Soto on two different occasions to fight a faded Barrera in the rematch and a totally gone De La Hoya. Yeah, those fights got more money for Pacquiao, but they provided zero entertainment value to me because they were such mismatches.
