Yeah, Norris has a rep for gym wars. That's probably a huge reason why he's slurring his words now.

I consider Mayorga more of an idiot than mean. His comments to Cory Spinks about his deceased mother were particularly cruel though and I had always wished somebody hit him in the teeth with a baseball bat for it.

Sonny Liston first came to mind.

Currently, I would say Edwin Valero. The guy is a borderline sadist. He seems to come off as an ******* toward his sparring partners.

Its hard to tell by just watching him, but I've read and heard that Ray Leonard could be mean and cruel inside the ring. Can anybody confirm this with a particular instance?

He wasn't mean and cruel enough to accept Pryors challenge.

                    Alright my friend, I'll bite.

And Pryor wasn't mean and cruel enough to move up to 147 and force a fight by beating the top contenders.

And Pryor wasn't "mean and cruel" enough to accept the offer to fight Leonard.
