if you're going to put it on arum instead of cotto to masked a ducking situation the don't put it on mosley for his response to a williams fight. atlleast mosley directly said no to the fight. cotto ducked the whole dam question and deflected it to top rank. thats not bigger balls

You still don't get it. He directs it to top rank because THEY promote his fights. If they say Mosley, he fights mosley. If they say rematch with clottey or margarito, he'll fight them Cotto is old school, he'll fight anyone even if it means a lost.

we can skip over all this **** and put cotto and mayweather in the ring and watch your boy cotto who i really like as a person and a fighter get sliced up by mayweather. after 2 rounds let the massacre begin.

You might be right Icheezy, the only problem with that is Floyd WON'T step into the ring with Cotto. All these years he never challenged cotto or margarito or mosley. While Floyd was throwing his money around on that 24/7 show Cotto was fighting margarito, mosley, clottey and now pacman. Floyd is a ducker and people cannot see it. Is cotto a bleeder.....YES and floyd is a ducker and margarito is a cheater and mosley is a steroid user. If i cannot knock my boy cotto i should not knock others.

Shane Mosley is full of it! Why don't he just sit back and fight either Paul Williams or fight Joshua Clottey. The Mosley vs Williams fight could be a good pay day for Mosley. They have already guaranteed him money. He don't want to get his ass handed to him by Williams. He is not more of a draw then Cotto so he should leave that alone. I do agree that Manny always picks the weakest fighters to fight. How can he even come close to being the p4p king by beating David Diaz, Oscar Delahoya and Ricky Hatton. Were any of these guys even considered in the p4p when they fought Manny? Also didn't Mayweather beat Oscar and Hatton before Manny did? If Mosley and Manny fight it could be the fight who the the STEROID p4p king because in my opinion Manny is taking it as well as we know Mosley took it.

Honestly, shanes just doing his best to get a fight, but its not gonna work. Not only is he the least profitable, but hes still a dangerous old man , and unfortunatly for him the cards are in arums hands. I donty think they should be mad though, hes given two golden boy fighters the chance to dethrone manny, he cant let the whole stable fight him just cause they havent won yet. Plus, miguel deserves the fight.he fought a tough guy in clottey, someone shane or no onm e else wanted to fight, and he won a goosd close boxing match that he had to dig deep for to win. He had to win the championship rounds, which he did, and thats alot for a guy whos heart and stamina have been questioned. Cotto vs. Manny pits the ricans against the phillipines again, and still contains two of the top 5 p4p fighters in the world. Miguel may have been cheated and hasnt lost since, he deserves a break too. And its funny how shane never mention that miguel holds a win against him lol....i think manny should fight miguel with the winner looking at floyd for 2010.....im one who believes manny is a better fight for miguel than clottey was. Miguel can box with the best, but constant pressure seems to be his kryptonite, something manny, floyd , or mosely doesnt bring to the table....im more comfortable with miguel fighting those guys than i was for clottey...true boxing fans know what miguel did with a messed up eye against a man whose never been dominated is nothing short of amazing.

He lost or mismanaged all his loot thats on him.

Let somebody else get a shot to be on the big stage Shane...A win over Pac makes Cotto a big deal ....A rematch with him afterward makes you a good money.

I agree with everything that is being said in both these above posts. i think Cotto fighting PAC only benefits Shane if Cotto wins. If Cotto wins and defeats PAC then the rematch between Cotto and Shane will be more lucrative for both of them. One thing that Shane said was true Cotto has been in some serious wars the last 3 out of 4 times out. he fought a hard fight with Shane, took a beating at the hands of Margarito and that cut he got in the fight against Clottey was plain nasty. it is very possible that that cut won;t fully heal by November 14th or might even get reopened in sparring orior to the fight.

Honestly I am a fan of Cotto he is my #2 guy next to Shane and I truly don;t see him getting past PacQuiao the way he fought against Clottey. The only question is will Cotto be the one bringing the pressure against PAC or will PAC be backing him up. In Cotto fight against Shane he did well moving forward but once Shane started moving him baclwards the momentum in the fight changed. If it starts out the same way against PAC but somewhere in the 5th or 6th round we see PAC coming forward and Cotto moving backwards he will be in trouble because PAC is relentless. As of right now from what I saw last fight I think PAC beats Cotto. If Shane fought Cotto in a rematch now he beats him as well. For me I do not want to see a fight against PAC from Shane unless it is either for the 140lb title or the 147lb title. I am tired of catchweights. I really want to see the WW division get sorted out and PAC and all that $$$$ is preventing that from happening.

You throw Money May in the mix and now you got all out maylay for the WW division. If it si going to happen you best believe I will be watching and routing for Cotto cause I wanna see Cotto Mosley II for the unifacation. In the mean time Mosley should stay busy and fight Berto.....Lefty

Shane got his ass beat by Winky twice and Forrest twice...This is why even though he will go to the hall of fame one day, he is not considered the top in the sport. He needs to fight Paul Williams and get whooped and then retire...End of Shane Mosely saga. He can't beat floyd and he can't be Pacman. And if he fights cotto again, it better not be in MSG, or he will lose that one again too (just ask Clottey who was robbed last week!)
