By the way.... how much longer will Mosley hold the belt hostage? He won it in January and is still looking for a dance partner? He could have fought someone during the summer... have a great showing, make a bit of money and make a case that he is the #1 option for pacman. jose 1418 cotto did not beat mosley. it was a nyc madison square garden gift. and cotto did'nt beat clottey either. clottey gave the fight away. i garantee you cotto won't rematch mosley and mayweather will slice cotto up. thats why we have the cotto pac fight because paq can't hurt him

I was at the garden that night really close to the ring for that fight, before the fight I thought Cotto was gonna get Knocked out. Boy did he prove me wrong. Mosley did not win that fight, Cotto's jab and body shots kept Mosley away. I don't think Berto will fare well with Cotto (just look at his last 2 fights). And the last fight, come on, that gash was early in the fight, huge (21 stitiches) and never stopped bleeding into his eye.

I don't think that Cotto is the best fighter at WW but is sure exciting to watche cause his leaky defense and crushing power. There are a lot of good match ups at this weight but we cant get all those fights. Mosley can't wait he has to keep fighting and make his case as being the undenyable guy to fight (ala Hopkins). I personally think that the Mosley that showed up in the Margo fight would be all the WW right now. But fact is that Mosley turned down a rematch with Cotto at the Garden. If you were so sure that he was gonna KO him what he didn't take it. It was sure gonna be more money than anybody else he would fight right now. This is one hot division

mosley had 4 chances at mayweather. 1 shane asked for 10m up front so there went that. 2 again money prblems.3 shane 's tooth was hurting after the vargas fight and 4 De la hoya ****ed up that one because he wanted to be the one to beat floyd first and you saw what happend there.

Mosley doesn't seem the least bit upset with the decision. He says he felt it was a very close fight. Mosley admits to being buzzed every now and then by a Cotto left and thinks he hurt Cotto with a few shots as well. Asked what he wants to do next, Mosley says he's "not getting any younger" and sounds like he's seriously contemplating retirement.
