You still have Pac jumping two divisions to fight him after just jumping one division. 3 divisions in less than a year to fight Oscar. Also Floyd was the fav against DLH, while Pac was a dog. Not quite as cut and dry as some try to make it out which was the bigger accomplishment.
I never said it was pac's fault Jim... And I also never said that Pacs win isnt better than Floyds win.

What I am replying to is Sin's comment that they both fought the SAME Oscar.

Because they didn't. Also lets not forget Oscar came in at 145... not 147.

That's 5 pounds... he hadn't made 147 in 8 years.. and he just made 145.

Gotcha. Yeah Pac has a harder time with the DLH Floyd fought at 154. But asking a guy to jump 4 divisions in a year might be a bit too much.

Right... and like I said, I was never comparing the two wins from the start of this thread.

Only that Pac did NOT fight the same Oscar Floyd did.

Don't forget either Jim... Oscar came in at 145, not 147. So that is 5 pounds.

oscar hadnt made 147 since 2001.

            And he just made 145.

I would say the version of De la Hoya that Mayweather fought was the same version that Pacquiao fought, The difference being though was DLH was alot healither at 154.

Like I said, it was the biggest rip off in boxing history. Trust me, had Floyd just let his hands go, he would have demoralized ODLH. Floyd is good but he is a punk. Did you see what Manny did to ODLH? Floyd could have done the samething. And that goes for Hatton too.

Floyd should really take a close look at B-Hop and learn from what made B-hop great and what made B-hop not so great. The attack dog B-hop wins fights with out arguement, the conservative B-hop either wins or loses fights with criticism. B-Hop in his old age said he would not be the conservative again, I guess he had to reflect on his own career, too bad it took him this long but B-hop is still a very live dog. I don't know if you get what I am trying to say or not.
You need to soak your head.

Fanny Pac had a dead man infront of him..He wasn't giving up 15lbs to Oscar like Floyd was.

Fanny Pac could not have destroyed the Oscar that Floyd fought.

B-Hop needs to learn from Floyd..

Floyd would never get humped by a BUM like Calzhage..

He would never lose to a sloppy rookie like Taylor...twice.

Hopkins admitted that Floyd is the best fighter of this generation.

I once had a special ed kid call me a ****** because I launched a waterballoon from one side of the gymnasium to the other and it landed on him.
Just like I thought it was hilarious and ironic coming from a ******, I took it the same way from flawless. How can you be insulted, when it's coming from Flawless? You can't help but just laugh!

Which would then make it... NOT the same Oscar..

A Hoya that's not healthier is not the same version.

When was the last time Oscar fought at 147??

Keep in mind..contractually...he wasn't allowed to rehydrate over 147.
