lmfao..floyd at 135 was light years ahead of cotto..he was linear at 130,and 135 he had beaten 3 current champs....get real
so floyd would have turned down a mega fight and payday for the chance to prove he was better than castillo when he got the dec get real dog you know the answer to that
this is a situation where even though the fight was good and competitive this was a crossroads fight where the winner deserves to move on to bigger fights. Cotto won, now he can look to big fights.
also had this been a cant miss FOTY candidate rather than a fight where there were more questions then answers then I could see a demand but it wasn't. It was more a case where it was a close fight where the guy who lost could have closed the show emphatically and instead chose not to. That's on him
**** fantacy fight..im talking reality,,floyd had a close fight and gave an immediate rematch..ya boy is in the same position wheres the rematch???[/QUOTE Change the july 18 date, heard fight is not selling...ribs..YEA RIGHT.
and i made a thread already saying i didnt believe the injury either..so whats your point??
so floyd would have turned down a mega fight and payday for the chance to prove he was better than castillo when he got the dec get real dog you know the answer to that
hell yea..floyd doesnt want any questions about him being better than who he faces
were reversed, Clottey goes to the cards using the cut as an excuse and Cotto would have stepped on the gas pedal late in the fight looking to finish a wounded duck. Clottey is a tough guy, but it is entirely possible that the only reason the fight close was because of the cut and how it impaired his vision. In a rematch, I still favor Cotto cause another cut that bad isnt likely. And Clottey was exposed as far as being a guy who cannot dig real deep when he needs to, instead he fades down the stretch. Cotto showed his championship heart once again fighting with one eye for most of the fight, he always adjusts and does what he needs to pull out that W. Clottey will be a tough fight for anyone at 147, and I doubt anyone will fight him....PBF, Shane, PWill, Berto, or Marg....and that real.
You cant say its ok for may to dodge tough fights for big money fights then knock cotto for not taking a rematch. Mayweather would take the big money fight as well. I do think a rematch with clottey and mosley should be made but not immediate
