Can we at least give Clottey his props as an elite fighter?

Yeah that would be good, but I think Margarito would beat him again, plaster or not; unless Margarito was damaged by Shane.

I see what you mean, the stunts he pulled to buy time were uncalled for. But he had taken some good shots and fought pretty well out of the corner, so I think his heart was there, but his will was lacking.
Maybe you're right. I'm just going off how he reacts to success (Baldomir, Margarito, Cotto)

I am a huge fan of Miguel Cotto but yesterday i believe cottley won the fight but he drop the ball on the last rounds i think cottley is a good elite fighter but you have to take and consideration that cotto figh 9 rounds handycap with one eye so ill give props to each 1s. Cotto was a warrior and he survive another warrior, i am glad cotto won the fight and i will like to see a rematch Cottley deserve it that is my opinion.

It was a awesome fight by the way

Williams is a bad matchup for Clottey. Josh is just not mobile enough to cause him problems. Winky proved that the shell defense is not effective against a guy who throws with the volume that Paul does. Clottey beats Berto now though, IMO. Make it happen.

Maybe, Marg didn't have plaster on his chin and Cotto didn't seem capable of stopping him. Margs volume is tough for a guy like Cotto, especially late, when he seems to tire a bit. It'd be the fight I'd go for if I were him though.

If Clottey kept up the pressure on Cotto, he would of won.

We need a rematch to happen!

Clottey's definitely elite. I hope he keeps getting big fights in the future.

Oh I def agree Williams beats him, but if Cotto doesnt give Joshua a rematch then I think Clottey will be looking for another name money fight... and WIlliams is one guy that would take the challenge
