Margarito would have made Cotto quit again last night

I'm sorry people, but I didn't see anything new from Miguel that would make me think he could survive 12 hard rounds with Antonio Margarito.

He couldn't stop the uppercut. He blew his wad in the first six rounds then started back pedaling. He was clearly affected by Clottey's shots (and Clottey is not a big puncher). Josh just didn't put enough pressure on Miguel last night (although I still think he deserved the decision).

Antonio Margarito would have put that pressure on Cotto. If it was Tony in there with Miguel last night, the fight would have been over by the 9th round.

well being that margarito would be without his much needed plaster i'm sure cotto would knock him the **** out late in the fight. cotto kept backing away from clottey because he needed to keep that eye free of blood. so he backed up from rope to rope while pawing at his eye and then he would engage clottey. margarito without his plaster hits about as hard as paulie malignaggi. cotto would bury that fool in the ring.

FYI for all who think that. Margarito hits hard regardless of the plaster, it just makes him into a hulk by the end of a fight. Shane said Tony's body shot was good power wise. And we all know Shane has felt some power to the body.

Cotto is twice the man Margo is since he fights the best and doesn't have to cheat while doing it. Margarito is a coward, a disgrace to the Mexican greats who have come before him. I would of shuned his ass a long time ago if I was Mexicans. I guess you guys are proud of and like to be known as cheaters?

& Clottey tried to put his ass in a head lock, what else was he going to do? He tried to break his way out of it and that's what he did. Tossing someone is nowhere near as bad as hitting them with bricks in your gloves, is it?

Unfortunately, I will have to agree. When I saw Cotto moving away, I thought Clottey would eventually knock him down or out. But Clottey lacks Margarito's power and punch output.

I still hold enough faith in Cotto to possibly win.
