i agree, the skills and talent are there, but the defense and gameplan and stamina are not.

he was going backwards against clottey because he needed to keep wiping off the blood from his eye. he was severely handicapped. most fighters would've quit after the 4th and won an easy technical decision

the cut was bad, but clottey didn't even use it to his advantage. clottey didn't jab at the cut, nor did he throw enough overhand rights or right hooks to exploit the cut.

the thing is cotto was bleeding against margo too.

what happens if cotto bleeds against either margo or clottey in the rematch? basically cotto will have to buck up and fight through it again.

finally yeah, cotto is very beatable, just not as beatable as clottey and especially margarito. pac might do the job legitimately on november

agreed. I'm not mad that cotto split decisioned clottey. I just think that one score was outrageous. clottey complains way too much.

margo is an unknown right now since mosley destroyed him. not sure how he will look in the rematch. but if margo is the same, and cotto is the same he will lose.

personally, I think cotto is too big for pac. I think pac is biting off more than he can chew.
