Margarito would have made Cotto quit again last night

I'm sorry people, but I didn't see anything new from Miguel that would make me think he could survive 12 hard rounds with Antonio Margarito.

He couldn't stop the uppercut. He blew his wad in the first six rounds then started back pedaling. He was clearly affected by Clottey's shots (and Clottey is not a big puncher). Josh just didn't put enough pressure on Miguel last night (although I still think he deserved the decision).

Antonio Margarito would have put that pressure on Cotto. If it was Tony in there with Miguel last night, the fight would have been over by the 9th round.

Absolutely. Margarito destroys Cotto again in the eventual rematch early next year. Clottey basically gave away the last two rounds and got dropped by a jab in the first which made all the difference. You have to pressure guys like Cotto and throw more punches to win.

Paul Williams would demolish Cotto within 9 rounds or less but Arum would never allow that fight to happen.

Cotto was cut, it was not the best version of Cotto but Tony with out his plaster, is nothing and he is not defensive fighter like Clottey is. Tony with out his plaster hits like Malignaggi. Cotto will T-off on Margaplasterito all night long. I remember Tony not being able to hurt Mosley once Tony's plaster was removed. Tony with out his plaster is not even half the puncher that Clottey is. If Tony begins to hit Cotto this time, the punches will not hurt and Tony will get knocked the fudge out.

Margarito is an overrated Mexican hype job & cheater. Cotto is 3 times the Man he is. And Floyd is 10 times the Man & fighter Margarito could ever hope to be. Get over it haters.

For the record, unlike Margarito, Clottey is a legitimate warrior. If Margarito is half as bad as his Mosley fight without plaster, both of those guys would have beaten him up yesterday.
