I just watched the fight again, and Clottley did let the w slipped out of his hand, but wasn't a 116-111, Cotto won by 1 or 2 points max, but on the end of the night every boxing fan won, was a great fight and i will like to see a rematch..

No most fighters won't pack it in when there is 20,000 fans there to see them. He had no choice you need to realize that and you'll look at the whole situation differently.

Yeah, it feels like Clottey lost the fight rather than Cotto won it, if you know what I mean

Thats why Cotto started to fight like Oscar. Clottey had regular boxing boots with regular rubber. Whoever was in charge of setting up the ring probably knew the fresh paint was a bad idea. I bet you it was some PR dudes that set up the ring. Cotto's corner kept throwing water all over they're corner. Cotto walked Clottey to his corner while there was water on the fresh paint and slammed Clottey. This is all coincedents though right? When you have HBO running the show you never know whats going down. If you people don't think that crooked **** does'nt happen in big fights your fooling yourselves. It's funny I had Clottey winning at the end of the fight but I told everyone in the room that Cotto will win a split. I was right!
So you're the Cotto hurt clottey' knees, watch the fight again, he was the one that jumped on cotto's neck, besides, the only one the holds during the figth was clottey, even when he was winning the rounds, so watch it again.

i just wanna see if everybody calls out cotto if he fails to give clottey a rematch....

just like everybody had been calling out chad dawson for failing to give glen johnson a rematch, even tho dawson clearly won the first fight.....

              something im watching for......

Watchin it yesterday, the second Clottey hit the canvas at the end of the 1st, I was convinced he'd lose. Not by a KO, but by a razor thin decision, which is how I saw it yesterday. I'll rewatch it sober to confirm, but I think he mighta dropped the ball too.

watch the fight again buddy, the rounds that clottey won were more convincible that the ones that cotto won, but, the desicion is not made by who threw more punches in the end of the fight, is by how many rounds you win. clottey didn't close the fight when he had the chance and didn't took advantage of the one eye cotto, I hope that cotto give him a rematch and see what clottey is all about.

I agree with most of you, Clottey sure did beat Cotto up with Flush shots but his inactivity is the reason the fight slipped away. Cotto didn't win it, he survived it, and kept his belt. I think Cotto survivng was impressive, I still think he could've been taken out by a better more aggressive fighter than clottey well like Margarito. I've notice Cotto starts getting on his feet around the 7/8th rounds, thats when he should be taken out.....Clottey let it slip away by not asserting himself.
