let me get this right........judges reward a guy who's avoiding the confrontation and swingin' punches that dont connect rounds?!?......so the guy who's pursuing or tryin' to engage in fight while avoiding shots is considered not doing enough to win the round?!?.......HBO gave MOST of you dudes "THE REASON" why Cotto was GIVEN the decision and you people accept it........116-111 was scored by the same judge who had Cotto way ahead of Zab.....everybody thought his score in that fight was bogus even though it wasnt needed because Cotto won by stoppage......the judge who scored it 115-112 scored the Pac-JMM rematch for Pac.......Top Rank judges did their job!!!........Cotto makes Arum more cake than Clottey ever will so you dudes do the math.......the ref was the SAME ref that let Cotto smash Zab's kids without takin' a point........so what does Cotto do in the first round against Clottey......thats right, hit him low..........he slammed him and punched him in the back of the head while his back was to him.......HBO called it ACCIDENTAL but the slow replay shows Cotto threw the punch WHILE Clottey's back was to him after being tangled together.........Clottey turned his back on Cotto while Jim Lampley interviewed him after the fight.......that was a "street" jesture.......PARDON MY BACK!!!!.......thats used to show disrespect to someone.......and Clottey was and still is ANGRY at Cotto for those moves..........it is what it is and I hope Clottey can get a REMATCH.........the politics in boxing have brain-washed the casual fans.........Chavez-Whitaker, DLH-Whitaker, Holmes-Spinks II, and DLH-Sturm smells like Cotto-Clottey.........smell the odors of the TRUTH!!!!!

first you cant blame cotto because of the scorecards, he won. not as wide as 116-111 but he def won. i am not mad at the 114-113 clottey because it could have been like that with a couple of really close rds. CLottey is no angel bro he headbutted , elbowed, grabbed and leaned over cotto a couple of times. it was a close fight for sure but the better man won dont let a scorecard take away from Cottos victory. it was a great night for boxing

That **** makes your legs heavy later on. So when Cotto started sprinting Clottey had a hard time chasing. Like I said if you've evr been in the ring before you would know that it's hard to adapt in that situation. Cotto started the fight backpedaling that was hiss style most of the fight. Once you start backpedaling it's easy to do later in the fight.

Clottey dominating rounds 7-9 gave people the false impression that he was dominating the fight. Cotto edged out 11 and 12, and he won rounds 1,3,4,and 6....all but 6 were close. But that's how boxing works, because you win a round more clearly doesn't mean you get more points for it, this misconception is making people cry robbery when they have no business crying robbery.
